| Bio: | Hi there- i'm Julie. And this is my journal. I've not been so good about keeping up with it as of late, but I'm working on that. I've recently decided that i'm not one who should be left alone & unsupervised on the internet, and because of this i've taken a leave of absence from MySpace to save me from myself. So what do you need to know about me? At the time of this writing, I am 28, and married to the most amazing person i've ever met. We live in our cape cod style home in the suburbs with two cats and lots of DIY projects. No kids, but someday. I work a job that flip-flops between wonderfully exciting and positively dull, and I constantly question if i'll ever return to the career I love. I am perpetually overwhelmed by the love and support that I receive on a regular basis from my blood family (some of them, at least), my family-by-marriage, and my 'extended' family of friends who are as important to me as anyone with an official familial title. I've learned a lot in my life thus far, but I believe strongly that everything happens for a reason and that people are never placed in your path accidentally. As happy as I am, i'm someone who learns from my mistakes most of the time. The rest of the time, I continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, too stubborn to realize the outcome won't change. What can I say? I'm human; i'm a strong-willed woman; i'm italian; and i'm a Taurus. I'm trying to do a better job of playing the hand i'm dealt in life and not worrying so much about how I wish things had turned out instead. Once I figure all that out, I'll probably write a book or something. My outward image is that i'm very much a people-pleaser. I do my best to never cause waves, start arguments or bring up sensitive topics, though i'll hold my own if put in the situation. I am passionate about many things, though many who know me casually would never guess it. I've got different sides, alter egos and various facets of my personality that even those close to me would never think possible. I've got strong mind and a heart of glass; I'll make my point but I might cry in the process. I'm fiercely loyal to the people I love, and usually that means they can get away with more than they should with me. But i've been through periods of my life where I hold grudges and take special effort to hate, and it's just not worth the emotional toll. That's me in a few paragraphs. Or at least, my perception of me. **This is a friends-only journal as to make my entries as honest as possible.
